This course is designed for surf instructors that will be teaching learn-to-surf lessons for beginners and early intermediate level surfers. The ISA Surf Level 1 Certification is the industry standard for surf Instructors at quality surf schools around the world. This is also the most popular ISA Course with the broadest international appeal.

Requirement:
Each Level 1 candidate must demonstrate that their Personal Surfing Ability is of an acceptable standard.
Must demonstrate surfing a green wave both left and right with control and awareness of other water users.
Able to kick out of the wave safely and with full control.
Must be able to speak and read english

ISA Surf Level 2 Instructor Course:
Becoming a Level 2 Coach takes the coach from learn to surf through intermediate surfing, towards advanced level and a greater understanding of competitive surfing and judging. By gaining your Level 2 accreditation, it also opens up greater opportunities to become involved in coaching at a Higher Performance level, creating training programs for individuals, teams and competitors. This course is aimed at individuals who want to make a career in coaching and who are aiming to work as a head coach or manager.

3 days (plus 40 hrs practical)

To obtain the ISA Level 2 Surf Coaching Accreditation, you need to hold the ISA Level 1 Surf Coaching Accreditation, or an equivalent as a prerequisite.

Surf Coach Safety & Rescue award
This award is applicable to those undertaking surf coaching and instruction activity. It aims to establish a minimum vocational standard that demonstrates a level of competence for the safety of participants under instruction during a coached surf activity session and to establish the necessary skills and knowledge to provide basic rescue response and life support.
